In August 2022, Renell Medrano's creative brand, Ice Studios, collaborated with ASICS to release a distinctive iteration of the GEL-Kayano 14. This collaboration featured a monochromatic "Blue Bell" colorway, with the shoe's mesh and leather upper enveloped in an icy blue hue, complemented by pops of yellow on the Ice Studios branding and midsole. The design drew inspiration from Medrano's childhood memories and her personal style, which she describes as balancing sportiness and style. The Ice Studios x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 was initially launched on August 12, 2022, through the Ice Studios webstore, followed by a wider release on August 19, 2022, via ASICS and select retailers.
